Alerts

The Alerts icon shows a count of new alerts waiting for the current user.  Alerts are created on any document using the Alerts toolbar icon from a workflow or master document screen.  Alerts can be useful to remind the user to perform an action on the related document at a later time.

  • Clicking on the alerts icon will display a list of new alerts.
  • Click on an alert from the list will open the master document window for the related document.
Alerts, User Preferences and Help.
  • The Alerts bell icon will show the number of unread system alerts for your user account.  Alerts can be set on individual documents in IWS.  See the Alerts section of this documentation for more information.
  • The User Preferences area allows updating of saved searches, time zone, and other user settings.  See the User Preferences section of this documentation for more information.
    • The ? Help icon opens this help system
    • Click the View All option below the list to see all old alerts for the current user.

    • Use the search/filter boxes at the top of the grid to narrow the list of Alerts.
    • The column headers can be clicked to sort each column.  Click again to sort the opposite direction.
    • Click any row to open the master document window for the related document.
